Departments

The Dean of Students Office, a department within the Division of Student Affairs, is a central resource for student life issues. We are responsible for New Student and Family Programs (new undergraduate and transfer student orientation and Parents Weekend), Student Conduct (the disciplinary system for undergraduates), Fraternity and Sorority Life, the campus Mediation Program, and the Center for Alcohol and Substance Abuse Prevention.  Our Community Housing Office offers assistance to students and staff in locating off-campus housing. We also advise a number of student organizations, including Project WILD, Project BUILD, Project Waves, and the First-Year Advisory Counselor (FAC) Progams. Confused about how to navigate through the university? Have an emergency at 2 a.m. and don't know where to turn? Want help addressing a conflict? We're here to help.
